Grade 5 Unit of Inquiry Site

Grade 5 Teachers & Students  //  For Unit Two,

We're inquiring into how unequal or irresponsible distribution or sharing of finite natural resources can lead to conflict, and how we can resolve and manage conflict.

We need to understand first of all how all resources and humans are all connected, what the different perspectives are about sharing, and how we can be responsible for one another.

Where does this cause occur?

Does the geography (type of land and climate) of this area affect this
cause? Does the geography make it better or worse and why? For some causes, this is very important!

In Central Africa the weather does effect famine.It makes it worse because in central Africa (if the countries are below the Sahara desert) the climate is very dry and hot so it makes it worse since many people don't get food and the weather is very hot.
