Grade 5 Unit of Inquiry Site

Grade 5 Teachers & Students  //  For Unit Two,

We're inquiring into how unequal or irresponsible distribution or sharing of finite natural resources can lead to conflict, and how we can resolve and manage conflict.

We need to understand first of all how all resources and humans are all connected, what the different perspectives are about sharing, and how we can be responsible for one another.

The Book

The Book a flicked through today was called:
A Life Like Mine: How Children Live Around The World. That book was A Dorling Kindersley
 Book. I think that book is really useful. It is easy to understand
too. Since it has lots of pictures and colorful pages.
Also there is alot of information.

How has the book influenced you? I bet you know lots about the problems these children face, which means you know more about what might be good questions to research? To begin, what are some of the perspectives of this issue? What are the causes?
