Grade 5 Unit of Inquiry Site

Grade 5 Teachers & Students  //  For Unit Two,

We're inquiring into how unequal or irresponsible distribution or sharing of finite natural resources can lead to conflict, and how we can resolve and manage conflict.

We need to understand first of all how all resources and humans are all connected, what the different perspectives are about sharing, and how we can be responsible for one another.

Child Soldiers

How dose the parents feel when there child is going to war? if the answer
is Yes why?
 
How dose the children fell when they are fighting in war?If the answer is

Well, some people force the kids to kill their parents before they get recruited to an army.
Also the parents can be dead because of war, or the kid can be a street kid. The armies choose a lot of kids that is easy to take away, and without a parent, no kid can be protected.
I don't think the kids feel good about fighjting in war. I wouldn't!

The parents are probably terrified and don't want to send their children to war but when the bad army come in they are probably armed with weapons such as guns or knifes.

Childeren fighting in war are probably scared since they are holding guns,have to fight in armies and seeing violence everywhere.
If I were in this situation,I'd probably have died of fright.
